My wife
and I are patients of Dentistry by Design and are very satisfied
with our care. I have been a patient at other "budget" offices and
have paid for it later. I came to Dr. Ionescu with a tooth filling
that had fallen out and he discovered an infection. He prevented
what could have resulted in a major problem for my tooth and my
overall health. Gabriela, our dental hygienist, is great- in just 2
visits my gum health has greatly improved.
Even though the economy is tough, I encourage everyone to take care
of their teeth as this will contribute to overall good health. Don't
put off dental care, because it will lead to bigger (and more
expensive) problems later. The staff is very understanding and
provides Care Credit to make dental care affordable. I highly
recommend Dentistry by Design.

I became a
patient of Dentistry by Design this year and I am extremely happy
with the quality of care. I am rather scared to go to the dentist,
but the entire staff here has relaxed my worries. My hygienist,
Gabriela, is very knowledgeable and thorough. My teeth are very
clean and for the first time- no cavities!
Dr. Ionescu is very kind and patient. I enjoyed my visit because he
takes the time to explain the condition of my teeth and how to keep
them healthy. The entire staff from the moment you walk into the
office is very friendly and I recommend them to everyone.

Ionescu,
It is always a pleasure coming into the office. We are always greeted with a
smile and friendly hello from the staff. Debbie was the hygienist today and as
always she was friendly and nice. Each time any of my kids have come out after
their appointments whoever cleaned their teeth has always complimented my kids.
And I just want to say how grateful I am that Dr. Ionescu calls in the
evening to see how any of us are doing after an appointment (like when I got my
cap and my husband had his tooth pulled and a few other times)
We, as a family have enjoyed coming into the office many years ago and we came
back when we got insurance again, and we will continue to come.
The staff here does a great job taking care of us.

Dr.
Ionescu was my family dentist for several years in
Bakersfield. I was sad when he moved to
Sacramento but we had to find another
dental office. My 14 year old daughter had recently needed some dental work, but
because of improper treatment done at the new office she was left in pain. I
called doctor Ionescu to see if he could offer us some advice.
At this point, on
a Friday, my daughter was in constant pain, and I had little hopes of finding
anyone who would treat her immediately and properly. To my surprise, Dr. Ionescu
asked us to come to Sacramento
for the weekend, where he spent his Saturday and Sunday treating my daughter. He
treated every single one of her dental problems, and she feels great! I'm afraid
that if Dr. Ionescu had not been so nice, she might have lost some of her teeth.
Now I know that the most important thing is not money or distance, it is the
quality of care provided, and I feel so lucky to have a committed dentist, even
if he is 300 miles away.

convey to Doctor Ionescu my sincere thanks for the examination he
gave me today. He was thorough in his analysis and considerate of
the confines of my schedule. I trust his counsel and I will be
following up for my
treatment plan and Orthodontic referral. At the same time, I felt
the staff gave me excellent service with Shirley and Debbie and Erin
taking precise digital X-rays (my first exposure to this technology
in dentistry ... very helpful and way cool), and then Debbie went
out of her way to educate me on the flossing point of dental hygiene
all the while working diligently to make sure I could be on time for
my next appointment. And, add to all this, the chairs were super
comfortable AND I got to control my own suction during the cleaning.
Today was the best dental experience I have ever had! :-) :-) :-)

On Friday, I had my 1st appointment with Dr. Ionescu. I was there 2 weeks ago for my first visit, teeth cleaning and consultation. I have had some bad dental experiences in the past so I have to admit I am a bit of a baby when it comes to getting work done. I need a lot of work and he gave me my options and went from there.
I really liked him from the start, I was shocked at the time he spent with me going over my treatment plan, how he works, and questions about myself. I have never ever had a dentist do this before. I left the office feeling really good, except I was in shock because I had no idea that I needed that much work. But I saw it for myself after he did the
x-rays. Putting them on the screen in front of you really is an eye opener. If I had this kind of treatment years ago I wouldn't have to have it all done now.
Anyway, he started doing 2 crowns, I went in with a open mind thinking everything would be good and I would not have any pain. Well, he was great. I never felt a ounce of pain. I was in the chair for 2 hours and it was the best dental experience I have ever had. And since I am gonna be a frequent flier in the office I believe this is going to be better than I thought. Also the staff and assistants are great... So I say thank you and I am feeling very good about my future visits.

Just a short note to express my sincere gratitude
for your spending so much time with me yesterday in completing the
root canal & setting the post in preparation of receiving my new
crown.
Once again I am amazed at your expertise and your
genuine care and concern about your patient. Then your
thoughtfulness
to place a phone call to see how your patient is doing. This contact
reminds me of the older days when people really cared about other
people and were there for them. You are one in a million, Dr.
Ionescu, and I can truthfully say that from my heart. I can remember
when I was in the nursing profession several years ago and doctors
used to stay in touch with their patients, even going to their homes
if necessary, and I thought those days were gone, and then I was
fortunate to meet you. Your family must be very proud of you.
Your staff is also a reflection of you, your integrity,
professionalism and caring. I always feel relaxed and at ease when
I enter your office. The first smile that I see is Gina and then all
of the other gals greet me. I love to bring "goodies" to these
wonderful gals & to you, as it is in giving that one is truly
blessed. It's just my way of saying, "Thank You" for everything and
making me feel welcome and special.
